Bali Reports Additional Death on Covid-19 Patient

As per Friday, August 7 2020 there are dozens of new positive Covid-19 cases as well as death toll.

According to the data owned by a task force to accelerate the handling of Covid-19 team, it is recorded there is 38 new reported cases. The total number of positive cases now reach 3.682 people.

In addition to that, there is one death case due to Covid-19 reported today. The reported dead patient is coming from Karangasem. Adding the number to 49 deaths (1,33 percent) – 47 Indonesian and 2 foreigners.

From the data owned by Bali post, the Covid-19 death case in Karangasem happened in Tuesday (4/8/2020). Coordinator for the task force to accelerate the handling of Covid-19 team for Karangasem regency, I Gusti Bagus Putra Pertama, confirmed this news on Wednesday (5/8/2020).

“Yes, there is one Covid-19 patient hospitalized at RSUD Karangasem died. The patient who died was a wife of a police officer,” said Pertama.

The good news, there are more recovered patient that has been reported from the new cases. There are 40 patients declared cured.

Adding to the cumulative recovered patient to 3.208 people. With increasing number of recovered patient, Bali’s recovery percentage hit 87,13 percent of the cumulative cases.

There are currently 425 active cases (11,54 percent). Being hospitalized in 17 hospitals and quarantined at Bapelkesmas, UPT Nyitdah, Wisma Bima, Ibis Hotel, Grand Mega Hotel and BPK Pering.
