Didiek said the construction of the trackless rail intends to increase the connectivity in a number of tourist destinations in Bali. Such as connecting Ngurah Rai International Airport to a number of tourist destination in Sanur.

KAI themselves is now considering various types of trackless rail that is suitable to be built in Bali. Which one of it is the ART. This type of trackless rail is being selected due to cheaper investment values and the construction process is also considered fast.

ART itself has been used in China. ART does not operate on railways but on the edge of the highway using a specific signaling system.
