At that location, officers took action against two businesses and six people without masks, including three foreign nationals, Friday (16/10). Head of the Denpasar Police Public Relations sub-division Iptu Ketut Sukadi said this activity was held from 09.30 to 10.30 am local time.
The targets are business places and residents who pass on Jalan Raya Seminyak, Kuta. “The personnel involved were 27 from the National Police, the Indonesian state army, the civil service police unit, and the Republic of Indonesia Penrepti,” he said.
From the operation, two businesses were punished for not preparing a place to wash their hands. In addition, six people did not wear masks from Russia, Belarus, Klungkung, Germany, Kupang and Italy.
The same activity was also carried out by members of the Benoa Police and related agencies, Thursday (15/10) at 10 pm local time. The target area is the West Pier, a shopping complex in Benoa Harbor. “The results were found no violators of the Covid-19 health protocol. People are encouraged to be disciplined in implementing health protocols, namely wearing masks, maintaining distance and washing hands,” said Sukadi.
