Enforcement of restrictions on community activities (PPKM) for Java and Bali Island has been extended for two weeks from 26th January 2021 to 8th February 2021. Here are things you need to know before traveling across Java and Bali during PPKM.
Previously, the government enforced the enforcement of restrictions on community activities (PPPKM) for 11 January 2021 – 25 January 2021 yet it has been extended for Java and Bali as the case on COVID-19 getting worse.
This restriction applied to seven provinces in Java and Bali: Jakarta. Banten. Central Java. Yogyakarta, East Java, and Bali. Thus, traveling within this area is also limited. There are several requirements for travelers within Java and Bali during PPKMB.
Travelers to Bali required to bring negative RT-PCR results that valid in 3X24 hours before departure time. Travelers also have to fill electronic-Health Access Card (e-HAC) Indonesia. Children below 12 y.o are not required to bring their test results.
Travelers to Java Island are required to bring negative RT-PCR or antigen rapid test results that valid in 3X24 hours before departure time.
During PKKMB, Government will provide COVID-19 rapid test spots along the road as part of controlling the spread of the virus. Travelers could find the test spot at the highway’s rest area.
