Two fishermen, Hery Widodo (38) and Diky (21), who had previously been declared missing while fishing in Kelan Beach waters, were finally found. They docked in Muncar, Banyuwangi safely, Tuesday (6/10).
The chronology of the incident, it is told that their boat ran out of fuel and bobbed in the middle of the sea. Luckily there were fishermen passing by and providing fuel assistance.
Due to unfavorable weather conditions, they decided to dock in the nearest and safe place. Ririn, who is the wife of one of the victims, reported directly that her husband was in good condition.
Head of the Denpasar search and rescue office, Gede Darmada, S.E., M.AP., confirmed the information regarding the discovery of the fisherman who was reportedly missing. “Immediately after receiving the information at 1.30PM local time, we immediately coordinated with the Banyuwangi search and rescue post,” he said.



As previously reported, 2 fishermen sailed from Kelan to the Badung Strait by boat on Sunday (4/10). They should have been back on Monday morning, but they didn’t come.
This was only reported to Bali Search and Rescue Agency on Monday night. After 2 days of search and rescue, they were finally found safe.
