Workers from Banyuwangi Charged 14 Years for selling drugs in Bali

Hendrianto, a man born March 25, 1982 in Banyuwangi, Thursday (08/10) was sentenced to 14 years in prison. By the public prosecutor Catur Rianita, the defendant who admitted that he was a construction worker was found guilty of trafficking or buying and selling narcotics. Apart from being charged with a sentence of 14 years, the defendant in the trial was also virtually charged with paying a fine of 1 billion rupiahs, a subsidiary of three months in prison. On this charge, the defendant, accompanied by a legal advisor from Posbakum Peradi Denpasar, will submit a written defense.

Earlier in the prosecutor’s indictment, the defendant Hendrianto had his address at Jalan Sedap Malam Gang Ratna Denpasar. It was suspected that he often sold drugs of the type of crystal meth and ecstasy. The police then conducted an investigation and made an arrest on June 25, 2020 in the defendant’s boarding room on Jalan Sedap Malam. During the interrogation, the defendant admitted that the illegal items belonged to his boss, Black, whom he knew by telephone.
